David brings over 25 years of experience in providing auction services to business and industry. His experience began decades ago ago as a sheet runner on the auction floor and has culminated in his running the auction company that bears his name. Along the way, David has established himself as provider of innovative solutions and a pioneer in bringing technology into the auction arena. He is regarded as a respected leader in the development and implementation of internet technologies to expand the boundaries for the marketing and selling of business assets at auction. In addition, David has been an advisor to numerous auction companies, called upon to assist with projects from coast to coast.
Thomas has been involved in the auction industry for over 25 years.
Thomas brings a high level of expertise to the financial aspects of the auction process, from budgeting, sales, finalization and reporting.
His experience covers everything from the marketing of business assets and machinery, to historic and classic automobiles.
Through the years, he has worked with hundreds of lenders and secured parties to protect their interest and ensure the proper liquidation of their collateral.
Thomas is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Steve is a Certified Senior Appraiser (CSA) with the Equipment Appraisers Association of North America (EAANA) and a Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) with the Association of Machinery & Equipment Appraisers (AMEA).
He has also served on the Board of Directors of the AMEA and Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA) and is currently USPAP compliant, having been recertified in 2013.
With over twenty-five years experience in the appraisal of all types of industrial machinery and equipment, as well as being a licensed auctioneer in several states, Steve brings an unparalleled wealth of knowledge to Heath Industrial.
He has completed appraisal assignments throughout North America, and recently in Brazil, Taiwan and Mexico.
During this time, he has been invited to participate as a speaker at numerous conferences, and conducted seminars with financial institutions, on the subjects of asset valuation and lender's issues.
Jake is a third-generation professional auctioneer and certified appraiser with 20 years of industrial auction experience. He has managed projects ranging from accepting single consignments of one-off machines to quarterly auctions through negotiating complete liquidations for Fortune 500 clients throughout North America and Mexico. Jake has enjoyed board positions with Chicagos chapters of both the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA) as Treasurer, and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) as Membership Committee Member.During this time, he has been invited to participate as a speaker at numerous conferences, and conducted seminars with financial institutions, on the subjects of asset valuation and lenders issues.He has authored numerous articles for industrial trade journals, participated in association panel discussions and conducted educational equipment workshops for the major lending institutions throughout North America. In addition to helping industrial and commercial clients, Jake and his wife Kim are dedicated to helping Chicagolands non-profit organizations by conducting numerous charitable auctions and benefits.
Lynn Schroeder is responsible for assisting clients in evaluating remarketing methods for various types of industrial assets, as well as for sourcing and working large equipment deals in categories such as construction, mining, transportation and oilfield. He has over 28 years of experience in the industrial equipment appraisal and auction market. Mr. Schroeder’s marketing and valuation experience spans various industrial equipment segments, including general and heavy construction; surface and underground mining, trucking and transportation; and fleet vehicles/transit equipment.
Mr. Schroeder is a licensed auctioneer, a Certified Senior Appraiser (CSA) with the Equipment Appraisers Association of North America (EAANA) and is currently USPAP compliant, having been recertified in 2013. Prior to joining Heath Industrial, Lynn worked for Caterpillar Redistribution Services, Forke Brothers the Auctioneers, and most recently lead the construction – transportation division of a national appraisal company. Lynn is a Veteran of the United States Air Force and supports military charities that benefit veterans. Lynn spends time helping Peoria area non-profit organizations by conducting numerous charitable auctions and benefits as well as serving as Master of Ceremonies throughout the year.
